Yes, we want to raise money for our club but we also raise money so we can continue to support our community. Whether it is from an individual club member or the whole club the CHBC likes to get involved in many ways. Here are a few recent contributions:
Monsters Defenseman #26 Doyle Somerby has accepted the task to wear pink in some way throughout October to raise money plus awareness for breast cancer as part of the “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign. We at the CHBC support a variety of causes and want to help him in this cause with a shout out.
Many fans of the Cleveland Monsters as well as even members of the CHBC have felt the affects of this particular cancer. If you would like to help Doyle out, feel free to click the link above and it will take you to his fundraising site. If you cannot donate $, feel free to show your support for Doyle by creating amazing signs or wearing pink at our October games.
Go Doyle! Rock that pink in the rink (and other places as well).
Here are a few photos from times when the CHBC has stepped away from the rink to support the community. Whether it is for run/walks, games or events, we are always looking for ways to get involved. If you would like to know more, ask a member at our table just outside of Section 103 before the game and during the intermissions. We would like to know of more ways to get involved.
